1. Gently used name brand clothing for Children and Women's Maternity.
or
2. Handcrafted Art and/or Crafts.
These two consignment programs are separate and have different
Guidelines, Terms and Percentages so please carefully read and fill out the correct forms when choosing to consign with us. The forms are available for printing off this website to include with your merchandise. Thank you.

Artist/Crafter Consignment Information-
Delightful Day Boutique is looking for unique, high-quality handcrafted goods. We are particularly looking for local Minnesota artists but also to carry work from artists across the county. We want to provide a place for artist sell their works of art and to share their passion with others.
Here are some of our terms and guidelines-
We are open to a variety of art to carry but strive for artwork such as, children’s toys, games, decorations, and apparel. For adults we are also looking for fun, unique items for wearing, using, decorating or amusing.
We know how hard it is for struggling artist to make a living with their work so we want to be fair with our consignment payments. We offer a 30% / 70% split, meaning the artist/crafter will get 70% of their determined retail price.
If you would like to be apart of our boutique here are few ways to begin-

- Pease include Contact information- Name, Email, Phone, and Address.
- Photographs of you work in JPEG format in a reasonable size for opening, this may also be you website, blog or online store such as etsy.com.
- Please include detailed descriptions of your work including sizes, colors and prices.
- Please tell us a little about yourself and your work.

- Because we are quite small, walk-ins are currently welcome. This may change as we grow.
2. Once we get your information we will contact you letting you know if we feel your items are a match for our boutique.
3. If we feel that your craft is a match for our boutique we will email or give you a consignment contract to fill out and sign. We also ask that you fill out an Inventory List Form. We provide this with the contract or can be picked up at the boutique. This will accompany your items. It is also recommended but not necessary to include some information about you/ your company/ art/ craft such as Hangtag, Fliers, Business Card, small Sign or Display. Please know that Delightful Day Boutique has the right to reject any items if necessary.
- Remember the different seasons are important and will be a factor in our decision to consign your items. Also, because the boutique itself is small we can only hold a limited amount of merchandise so if you don’t accept your items currently we may once space opens up. We like to keep our items fresh and ever-changing so we will keep your information on file to rotate into the boutique.
- Currently we do not offer a Buy-Out Option. We may begin this option at a future date as our business grows. This option will pay 50% of the retail amount to the artist outright. Items then become property of the Delightful Day Boutique and subject to appropriate pricing.
- Packaging and shipping charges, packaging supplies, mail insurance costs and other handling expenses incurred in the delivery and return of your artwork is the responsibility of the Artist/ Crafter.
- Payment will be made the 1 of every month if payment is equal to or greater than $20. Amounts under $20 will rollover to the next month. Item pricing will be determined by the artist. Artist/ Crafters will receive 70% and Delightful Day Boutique will receive 30% of the retail price determined by the consignor (artist). Check may be picked up at the store or mail to you. Please include a self addressed envelope with your inventory OR $1 may be subtracted from you payment for mail payment checks. Your payment will include a list of the inventory that has sold. Any additional updates on inventory will be made upon artist request.
- The term of the contract equal 6 months and begin at the time of receiving the artist signed contract. This contract automatically renews itself until one of us chooses to opt out. In other words, Delightful Day Boutique reserves the right to either A) keep the artist’s unsold merchandise on consignment for additional 6 months or B) return any unsold merchandise to the artist. Delightful Day Boutique has the right to remove the artist work for whatever reason we elect necessary. Option to change out items because of season, demand, style, or sizing can be done at the season’s end. If this event occurs Delightful Day will notify the artist before removal.
- We will do our part to promote, display and sell you artwork. Delightful Day Boutique reserve the right to make modifications to the retail price based on the market demand and other factors. We will notify the artist before making price changes.
- Delightful Day Boutique will make every attempt to maintain all items in sellable condition. However, unexpected and destructive circumstances do arise. In this event, the artist will be paid the store’s share of the profit for the items damaged. Additionally, consignment is owned by the artist and cannot be taken by creditors in the event of store bankruptcy.
- Delightful Day Boutique will not provide insurance for any artwork regardless of the price or nature of work. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the artist.
- Delightful Day Boutique is responsible for all Minnesota State Sales Tax on the behalf of the artist for work sold at Delightful Day Boutique. It is your (the Artist/ Crafter) responsibility to file your income taxes.
